Information and Cyber Security professional.
George serves as the Chairperson of the ICT Ad hoc Committee, and secretary of the Audit & Risk Committee within the SACCO. He joined the Board in 2024. He is an astute Information and Cyber Security (ICS) professional with over 15 years experience in the domains of ICT Service Operations, Consultancy and Systems Implementation.
His experience spans various industry verticals including Telecommunications (Safaricom), Big 4 and Independent Consultancy (PwC, EY & Extant), Banking and Financial Services (NBK – a subsidiary of KCB). He is also a member of KBA ICT Risk and Security Sub-committee.
Education & Qualifications
George has undergone management and leadership training in the Netherlands and has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Maseno University. He holds various industry certifications and has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of the People, United States of America (USA).
