Patrick is an experienced finance and accounting professional currently serving as the Financial Controller at Safaricom Ethiopia. He is currently serving as the Treasurer and Chairperson of the Finance & Administration Committee. He also held the position of Group Financial Controller at Acorn Holding Limited for a period of two years.
He has held various finance roles at Safaricom Plc, including Team Leader for Record to Report, Manager of Financial Controls and Reporting, and Treasury Manager. In 2023, Patrick joined the Qona SACCO Board, where he currently serves as the Chair of the Audit Committee.
Education & Qualifications
Patrick holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance and an MBA in finance from the University of Nairobi. He is a qualified CPA and a member of the Institute of Public Certified Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
Before his time at Safaricom, Patrick gained experience in the manufacturing and FMCG sectors, where he worked in several finance and accounting positions. He also served for three years on the supervisory committee of Qona SACCO.
